Introduction
FAITH - INDIA, being an organisation
standing to fulfil the needs of Disabled, identifies the necessity
of Assistive/Corrective/Adaptive devices for making the environment
barrier free, so as to enhance the mobility of the Person with Disability,
which in turn helps to make him/her self reliant. FAITH - INDIA
has in its premises a well established Department of Orthotics and
Prosthesis with well trained professionals. The Dept identifies
people who require devices and supplies them for free using financial
aid from Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, and also from
Local Self Governments.
Identification of Beneficiaries and Supply
Beneficiaries belonging to all disability groups
are identified through Camps, Direct registrations and references
from other institutions. All beneficiaries are medically screened,
suitable aids prescribed and are supplied.

Manufacturing of ability Aids for persons with visual impairment,
Learning impairment, Orthopedic handicap, Cerebral Palsy and Mental
retardation such as educational Aids, Mobility Aids, Prosthetic
Aids, Orthotic Aids, Hearing Aids, Corrective Aids, Adaptive Aids
& Supportive Aids.
2. Reparing
& Maintainace of all types of Aids.
